Hi Thomas, As promised here is a picture of my socks. They are thin hillwalking sock (liners) but they have protection in all the places that rubbing can occur. Hope that helps.
Debbie - as a father Marco will not only be wearing socks up to his nipplies, but also pants and trousers. High waisted everything and a growing inability to dance are the hallmarks of fatherhood.
Er, enjoy Marco. You get over the concern after a few months and begin to enjoy the high waistedness of clothing as a new dimension of freedom. Also it keep you nice and warm against winter drafts.
I know. I think I will just blog about items of clothing from now on. Much more comments than my race reports. If we both get the times that we are looking for then I calculate that we will both cross the line together. Now that would be cool.
