He's dead Jim

Well it's all looking desperate now. I went for a 10 mile run yesterday and by the end my Achilles was really sore and my calf swollen. I have a Physio appointment at Hampden Park on Wednesday but it's back to no running for the next couple of days. At the moment it is looking like my shoes is doing the damage so don't count me out yet.
I will be optimistic until 1am on Saturday although I don't think Leonard "Bones" McCoy would have any hope and I am starting to think that wearing a red t-shirt ain't helping either.

Marco, what can I say?! Especially as I can't really talk from experience. But stick with your old Pegasus, even if they feel more cushioned - cushioning might not be a bad idea right now and at least you know you have run in them. And REST. 10M does not sound like a recovery run to me. I really hope you can get it sorted in time!! Fingers crossed! Silke

Good job you're being sponsored by Hampden and can get help straight away.

Hope you can get it sorted asap

Get out there and do a couple of back to back 40 milers and batter that achilles back into shape!
Seriously, you've got to start, you're in great shape and you just never know how it'll go once you're a few miles in. Good luck with the physio.

Please don't do this to me.
You'll be fine! And that's an order.

"... and Consani's" needs to be added to that!
